Ref. 4414/492/038 Padded jacket with FELLEX® AEROGEL filling. FELLEX® AEROGEL technology is made from polyester and contains the AEROGEL component which increases thermal insulation without adding extra weight to the garment. This material is used in astronauts' jumpsuits due to its lightness and thermal capacity.Front fastening with press studs and drawstring adjustment at the waist. High neck with hood. Side pockets with brushed inner layer. Water and wind waterproof fabric, with heat-sealed seams.
The fabric can withstand ≥10k of water penetration (10,000 mm of water penetration under pressure). The garment is made with (critical or fully) sealed seams and heat-sealed zips that offer greater waterproofing.
This jacket has been certified to withstand temperatures from +9ºC (low activity) to -16ºC (moderate activity), during a standardised test with simulated wind of 0.4 M/S wearing a long-sleeved high-neck T-shirt, trousers, underwear, socks, shoes, gloves and a knit hat.
