Waterproof and wind-resistant padded jacket with FELLEX® AEROGEL filling. FELLEX® AEROGEL technology is made from 95% polyester and contains an AEROGEL component that increases thermal insulation without adding extra weight to the garment. This material is used in astronauts’ suits because of its lightness and warming capacity.
With adjustable hood, high neck and zip fastening. Front pockets with fleece lining. Cuffed sleeves. Breathable fabric and water-resistant zip.
The fabric can withstand ≥10k of water penetration (10,000mm of pressurised water penetration). The garment is made with sealed seams (critical areas or all) and airtight zips that offer enhanced waterproofing.
This garment has been tested to withstand temperatures from +9ºC (low activity) to -15ºC (moderate activity) during a standardised test with simulated wind of 0.4m/s wearing a long-sleeved high-neck T-shirt, trousers, underwear, socks, shoes, gloves and a knit hat.
